DIY HANGING VASE POT LAMP

Do you have flower pots that are useless, but you don't want to throw them away??  I had this pot in my balcony for many years. as it was red it didn't blend into my interior but now i needed lamp for my 3 year old girl and I had another idea to use this vase.great  :) Make  cool hanging or even wall lamp.. I have pleasure to share with you :)

Hanging around on my clothes branch

OH light  oh light
You will need :
pen
pot, or old vase
old light cord
led bulb!!!
sandpaper
drill
some chain or yarn etc. (what you can find)

Ok first thing to do is to make hole into vase. take a pen and copy the diameter of the light insert into the vase. Start to drill gently the little holes into rounded area. BE GENTLE otherwise can break very easily. With the sandpaper go around the hole and try the insert, does it go inside. If not sandpaper from the spot that needed. It should look like this... you can make two holes little bit away from center to hang the lamp from that.

Hole in
Then when it fits, find some chain or yarn or I used old chain. This is because the vase is little bit heavy to hang on his own. Make sure you put led bulb, this way the lamp does not get hot and led bulbs are more eco friendly ;) your lamp is ready enjoy
